Motherlines Mail is a monthly offering of original art and letters, sent by post, for the woman finding her way through motherhood. Each month brings a personal letter, an art print, and — depending on your tier — a small creative practice to go with it.
Motherlines Mail is for mothers who want a little more space to connect with themselves within motherhood — whether newly finding your feet, or many years into it. You don't need any art experience, lots of time, or to know exactly what you need.
No. I'm not a qualified art therapist, and Motherlines isn't a substitute for therapy or clinical support. What I offer comes from my own creative practice, my studies, and my lived experience of motherhood. If you're navigating something that feels bigger than a creative practice can hold, I'd always encourage you to reach out to a qualified therapist or your GP alongside anything you do here. Motherlines is a companion, not a treatment.

The Letter includes a personal letter, an art print, and a small reflective prompt card each month. The Practice includes everything in The Letter, plus a monthly creative exercise, an A5 piece of art paper, a supporting insert, and a small gift.
No. These aren't art lessons, and you don't need to consider yourself artistic to take part. There is no right or wrong way to do them, and nothing you need to create or achieve.
No art experience is needed. You'll just need something to make marks with — your children's paints or crayons are more than enough. A mix of mediums is lovely, but not necessary. A5 paper is provided for you to draw on, or if you'd rather work larger, an A4 blank art journal works beautifully too.
t the moment, The Practice is only available to Australian residents. The Letter is available internationally, with a small additional postage fee. Please reach out to me if you are based internationally (not Australia) and are interested in joining.

The Letter is $16.85 AUD/month, with a small additional fee for international postage. The Practice is $33.70 AUD/month, for Australian residents.
Pricing may be adjusted between seasons — for example, if postage or material costs rise. If you're partway through a season, your price stays as it was when you joined for the remainder of that season.
Motherlines Mail is delivered once a month, for six months. After that, I take a pause — a kind of hibernation — before beginning again. This gives me space to rest, to gather any feedback and reflect, and to think about my next offering. It also means each season stays intentional, rather than becoming something ongoing and automatic.

No. There is no schedule to keep, assignment to complete, or expectation to participate in a particular way. You can spend ten minutes with your mail, return to it when you have a quiet moment, or simply read the letter and keep the artwork. There is no right way to receive it.
